Trafalgar D. Water Law/Personality and Relationships
The main advantage was that, being summer, the night was warm, but at the same time the coolest moment of the day, and you could stay outside with relative comfort, not like in winter, when it was so cold you couldn't feel your own feet. The main inconvenient was that the amount of drunken, and generally intoxicated, grew considerably. Law muttered another insult under his breath, too low for anybody to have heard him, and directed a very rude gesture with his middle finger to the man currently staggering away from him.
Luckily said man was with his back to him and didn't notice. Though Law doubted he would have been able to identify the gesture if he had seen it. Resting his back against the wall, the young man busied himself by thinking and muttering as many offensive and degrading things that he could come up with while trying to find a position in which his ass wouldn't hurt too much.
Though he couldn't complain that much either, as accepting that sort of thing was his way of compensating for the list of acts he refused to do in his job. After all, Law found a certain degree of pleasure in that sort of pain. That didn't change the fact that the guy had overdone it.
And the idiot wouldn't be able to find a prostate even having a map. Perhaps he should add guys too drunk to articulate a comprehensible sentence to his list.
A car stopped before him and, with great effort, Law left his relative comfort at the wall and approached the driver's window. As he approached, the dark-haired man noticed it was an expensive car. Hey, I've seen weirder things. Once he was closer, Law noticed the redhead was very attractive. Attractive clients were a rarity. There was always a downside with attractive men.
The redhead came out of the car and Law noticed the man was taller than him, and far more muscular.
In the Shadows Chapter 1: Heart, an one piece fanfic | FanFiction
Law held back a shudder, refusing to get any expectations based on the man's appearance. When a man was attractive and had a good body didn't necessarily mean he was good in bed, and he could think of some clients to prove that point. His eyes trailed down to the man's left hand.
That doesn't exclude the deluded girlfriend convinced of his heterosexuality.
That discourse had scared off some potential clients, but it was a good way to establish from the beginning that he wouldn't be pushed around or allow for them to step over the line.
His laughter was a raucous sound that wouldn't have been out of place in a horror film while the killer chopped his victims to pieces.
This time Law couldn't stop the shudder that ran down his body, though luckily it wasn't too obvious and the man didn't notice. Law kissed him back immediately with as much intensity as he was receiving, refusing to be dominated. It wasn't common for a client to kiss him, but it wasn't something he refused to do either, and that man was proving he knew how to use his mouth.
Perhaps he even had hopes of a half decent shag tonight after all. Law heard the car's door close and didn't resist when, still devouring his mouth, the man dragged him to the alley next to which Law was strategically standing.
He drowned a complaint in the redhead's mouth when said man shoved him hard against the wall, and separated their mouth once those hands started to move over his body. He preferred it when clients brought their own condoms, this way he saved that money and prevented some awkward moments when the ones he had with him weren't the size the client needed. He also believes in the existence of an inherent cruelty in all human beings regardless of personality that is brought by the excitement of seeing blood and death.
Doflamingo has proven himself to be an underhanded businessman, as he has no intention of parting with certain goods despite placing them up for sell or prize, such as the Mera Mera no Mi and Goru Goru no Miand would be furious should these goods fall into outside hands.
He does not have much respect for people he considers weak, and desires to only associate himself with the strong, being quick to cast aside the weak. Though he could not care less for weaker people, he does seem to have some interest in improving them if possible, as he will point out their flaws and occasionally give them second chances to please him.
Despite his apathy for the weak, he often seems to make alliances with promising rookies. He adopted Trafalgar Law, Buffalo, and Baby 5 into his crew and apparently did it very early on their journeys, and treated Law and Baby 5 as though they were his younger siblings; It is extremely difficult to join his crew, as most people, especially children, were chased off.
Despite his loyalty, compassion, duty, camaraderie and devotion to his crew, he can still be annoyed by their antics; such as Trebol being too close while chatting with him, as evidenced by his irritated frown. You people were born as lowly trash, destined to be controlled!!
- Donquixote Doflamingo
- Relationship between Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar D. Law
You humans and I are completely different! He also had a habit of ending his sentences with "eh" as a result of being around Celestial Dragons who spoke with this speech pattern, which eventually disappeared when he was brought out of that atmosphere and his ties and values from his former life were slowly broken.
Even after his father took him away from such a life of luxury, Doflamingo clung onto his heritage, believing he still has the rights of his lost origins, complaining that he did not want to live inside a rundown shack despite being hunted, and resents his father to this day for taking it all away from him.
Doflamingo's arrogance stems from his heritage and he hypocritically states that what he despises the most is being looked down upon, while looking down on the world of commoners that he has been condemned to living in to this day. Upon the destruction of his homeland, the annihilation of his classmates and family, and diagnosed with no more than thirty-eight months to live, Law suffered a mental breakdown and, according to Doflamingocame to be known for being very cruel and cunning, having wanted to join Doflamingo's crew so he could destroy everything around him.
Law is an extremely laid-back man, who is nearly always seen calmly smiling when not put into a tense situation. After the time-skip, he doesn't smile as much anymore, but usually has a more cautious, observing expression on his face. He usually smiles instead when he is trying to provoke someone or is pleased that a plan went as it was intended.
He seems to have little regard for fame, as he stated that he is not interested in his new bounty of , He also has a more reckless attitude when faced against other pirates that the World Government has labelled as a higher threat. For example, he casually asked X Drake how many people he had slain in his very first appearance, and had no qualms about flipping off Eustass Kidthe most wanted Supernova on the archipelagoeven smiling defiantly when doing so.
Law has also performed the gesture to Donquixote Doflamingo to display his contempt for his former captain. He hates being ordered around, as evidenced by his frown and following reply when Kid told him and Monkey D. Luffy to stay back as he would hold off the attacking Marines.
